Theory and Hazard Perception Test
When you have passed your theory test, you can apply for your practical test. The theory test is made up of two parts, 50 multiple choice questions and a hazard perception test. You will need to pass both parts.
Theory and Hazard Perception training is available to you via your instructor and our Theory Test Pro website. Our Theory Test Pro enables you to complete short tests, section test , full tests and hazard perception tests. There are 14 sections to test your driving knowledge - Accidents, Alertness, Attitude, Documents, Hazard Awareness, Motorway Rules, Other Types of Vehicle, Road and Traffic Signs, Rules of the Road, Safety and your Vehiocle, Safety Margins, Vehicle Handling, Vehicle Loading,and Vulnerable Road Users. To pass your theory test you need to answer correctly 43 out of 50 questions.
Driving test candidates are not able to use foreign language voiceovers and interpreters on their test but theory test pro has a translater for practice. Click here for more information from the DVSA.
Our Theory Test Pro also has Hazard Perception videos. There are 14 clips, 1 of the clips has 2 hazards. The clips feature everyday road scenes, a developing hazard is something that may result in you having to take some action, such as changing speed, direction or making you stop. What you need to do is identify these as early as possible to get as high a score as possible (max 5 points per clip). To pass your hazard perception test, you need to score 44 points out of 75.
82% of theory test pro users pass the theory test first time, the UK average is 41%.

To cancel or reschedule your test, you need to give 3 full clear working days notice. From 1 April 2014, candidates will be able to ask for a rebooking at short notice with no charge if they can’t take their test because of a medically certified illness, a bereavement or school exams. DVSA will also continue to offer a refund or new test date to serving members of the armed forces who are called for duty
Practical Driving Test
